Kinerja Pemerintah Pekon Dalam Mencapai Good Governance

Governance can be said to be good if the principles of good governance are applied during the implementation of policies. Good governance is a good governance. The purpose of the research is to find out how the performance of the Pekon Menggala government, East Kota Agung District, Tanggamus Regency in its efforts to achieve good governance. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection is carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis consists of the stages of reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that based on the indicators of the application of good governance principles, the Pekon Menggala government has not been optimal. This is because 1) the road repair program, the construction of patrol posts, and garbage disposal sites have not been realized, 2) organizing entrepreneurship training programs for the community, 3) involving the community in policy implementation, 4) providing free health services. Therefore, the government seeks to improve the performance of government apparatus in order to achieve good governance.
